I am a freelance writer and editor with over twenty years of experience, working for prominent and successful international publishers and packagers. I have lived (and worked) in the UK and the USA. I specialise in writing for children and parents.

I have written and edited a number of books for children, many of which are novelty books (books with pop-ups, tabs, touch-and-feel elements or other interactive parts). I have also created content for websites and a smartphone app.

Whilst living in the USA, I wrote parenting pieces for a San Francisco parents’ magazine and later its associated blog. I also wrote a number of blog posts for a parenting blog.

In the USA, I also worked with elementary/primary aged children: teaching and tutoring at 826 Valencia, an amazing non-profit which aims to encourage kids to read and write. I also taught after-school STEAM tinkering classes for The Renegade Girls Tinkering Club.

I work on a freelance basis or on a contract, and, if your offices are commutable from North London, can work in-house.
